Jerry Seinfeld, Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Michael Richards (Better known as Jerry Seinfeld, George, Elaine and Kramer) will join David in a string of episodes rumoured to focus on the idea of the "ol' gang" getting back together for a Seinfeld reunion. Diehard fans/dorks will recall that the show-within-a-show technique is nothing new for these guys, with a Seinfeld season 4 arc focusing on Jerry trying to get his own fictitious show, Jerry, up and running.
David revealed: "For years, I've been asked about a 'Seinfeld' reunion. We'll see the read-through, parts of rehearsals, the show being filmed..."The season finale will be about the reunion show. It could very well be a one-hour episode, but I haven't finished editing it yet. But that's a good possibility." Count as excited. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

:O YES PLEASE!
Love Seinfeld, but don't know if I dig the premise behind the reunion show. If the whole thing is about the cast coming together to reminisce and put out another show for ol' times sake - doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of what the show was about in the first place? The show was about NOTHING - that's why it was such a success. If you have an actual motive behind the reunion episode, then it's working to a whole different formula altogether - then the show is about SOMETHING - right? Don't know if that will wash with its diehard fans...
