Events and Promotions Intern at Channel [V]
Company: XYZ Networks.
XYZ networks owns, operates and/or distributes eleven of the leading subscription television channels in Australia. We have an audience of approximately 4 million people and produce 1,500 hours of local content each year, more than any other television company in Australia. XYZ’s Music channels attracts people from all types of backgrounds who are creative, energetic and bright, as well as being absolutely passionate and committed to our mission of producing Australia’s best music TV.
Position: Events and Promotions Intern – Channel [V].
Paid or Unpaid: Unpaid.
Location: Sydney.
Length of contract if freelancing: 1 month.
Start date – end date: August/Sept
Overall Objective: To provide assistance to Events and Promotions Coordinator and Events and Promotions Manager to ensure that Music Channels events and promotions are implemented smoothly and at high standards.
Requirements & Preferred experience:
- Interest in Marketing and Communications.
- Willingness to learn.
Skills & Competencies:
- Priority and time management technique
- Computer skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Good writing skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to use initiative and work effectively without constant supervision
